Learn how to create your very own animation, we will then host your animation on our website. For 7 days the public will get to vote for their favourite animation. The winner will receive special recognition and a grand prize.
We will focus on three types of software, all web based with no cost involved...
Beginner: www.powtoon.com – animated presentation software
“PowToon is Web-based animation software that allows you to quickly and easily create animated presentations with your students by manipulating pre-created objects, imported images, provided music and user created voice-overs.”
Intermediate: www.imagetovideo.com 11+
“This video editing platform offers a plethora of video editing options that include the tools that allow you to create slideshows, or add audio files to a video. The Image Sequence into a Video tool enables you to upload up to one hundred images to this platform and use them to create a stop motion video.
After the upload process is completed you can rearrange images, upload an audio file that will be used as the soundtrack and choose how many images are going to be displayed on the screen each second."
Advanced: www.blender.org 15+
“Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, video editing and 2D animation pipeline.”
